Unfortunately I did not get to see any fireworks =( I spend every night working my knee, and it's starting to pay off, thank god.
A lot of progress is being made in rehab as well. I can kinda run in place, so I'm not far off from actually jogging. Wooooop #meekmillvoice
There are several elderly women who have therapy the same time as me, and it's pretty entertaining. They gossip about everything you could possibly imagine. If there are any rumors going around Pittston or West Pittston about any going-ons, I know it all.
I also now know several killer recipes for pasta azul(sp?). I have no clue what it is, but I can make a mean one.
I also met probably the strangest dude ever. Maybe I imagined him. He just came in one day, t-shirt tucked into his gym shorts that were halfway up his stomach and knee high socks, didn't say anything to anyone, and came over and sat next to me while I was riding the stationary bike. This is exactly what he said to me:
Him: Whatcha doin?
Me: ....riding the bike.
Him: Are you waiting?
Me: Er, waiting for what?
Him. Yeah you are
Then he got up and went to the front office of the building and I have not seen him since. I looked around and no one else seemed to have even noticed him. It was the strangest thing to happen to me in a while.
I also got some good news the other day, all student employees at Virginia Tech are getting a 25 cent raise =D
Just kidding, I'm very excited. Money is money, and an extra quarter every hour certainly won't hurt.
This picture is just ridiculous
One more week until I get my big brace off too =D It's going to be the best feeling in the world to not sleep in that giant leg raping brace every night. Getting comfortable is the definition of impossible.
This has been an overall good couple weeks for me. A lot of good news and a lot of good times. Like getting cake shoved in my face and ears by Kristin and Sarah at her graduation party:
I also may have finally figured out my golf swing. Just maybe.
Has anyone else seen Ted yet? That movie was absolutely hysterical. I expected it to be funny because it was Seth McFarlane but it actually turned out to be an awesome movie too. If you haven't seen it yet, I advise you to stop reading this and go see it, right now. Bring extra diapers.
For all my VT amigos, hope you all were safe during those wild storms that had their way with the state of Virginia. I can only imagine how crazy it was, we caught the tail end of the storms and there was lightning about ten times per second. I was on my deck like
But yeah. Anyone who wants their ass kicked into shape when we get back to school is welcome to train with me. But be warned, you will be pushed to your limits. I'm coming back harder than ever and working harder than ever. I got something to prove now. Its #TheComeback (sorry to steal your thunder Allan Chaney) and
Well that's about all I have to say for tonight. Not much really going on other than my knee and kickin it with friends. Although, I did get a wicked sunburn around my sunglasses this weekend that I wish i had a picture for y'all to see. Just imagine it. And give me blue hair. Just for giggles.
Okay. Now I think that's it. Hope everyone's having a great summer! Feel free to leave feedback, positive or negative. One last picture. Because America.

I hope to get more in shape, but probably not with you because I suck. Can't be as hard as training with Kurt Weidner, though -- google him. He is a personal trainer here in Blacksburg and repulsively muscle-y
